80's glamour.. it makes me nostalgic.. but that doesn't make sense, i wasn't even alive then! having missed the 80's doesn't mean i can't love the fashion though, and while browsing online I found some very sexy, 80s-esque peep toes. Take a look;

Ok, I know I haven't posted in a while and sorry about that... but i have picked up a few things in the time being, however the pics can not be posted as the site won't let me : hopefully this will be fixed soon and I shall post the pics then, but this is what I got;

The Lovely belts - from Primark at £1.50 (the red one) and £3.00 (the distressed blue one) these provide a fabulous way to define that waist and create the hourglass shape you always wanted.. and without breaking the bank too - an added bonus!
The orange top picked up in the mid season sales in Zara at £8.00 - this vibrant hue goes well with this season's grey and what a great investment as a lot of orange has been seen on the runway for spring 08.. but of course, with a lovely, colourful, basic like this, you can't go wrong.. it will always be in fashion when paired with the right accessories.
Shimmer in style with this simple silver tank top with a black print on it - at just £10.00 from New look, it can be either dressed up or down for the occasion and give you that little bit of glamour in your life.
The pink dress has a rather rich feel to it with its subdued, muted colour and soft material with the pocket providing that extra bit of style. Worn under a black belted pea coat and with leggings (for some more sparkle, you could add metallic leggings such as the ones i posted about before) it conveys a simple, yet chic, sophisticated style.

I just found this lovely, brown woven square buckle belt which would nicely compliment a simple black babydoll top or dress and black heels and delicately cinch your waist creating a slimmer waistline. Remember a few posts ago when I was literally drooling over some blue shoes I'd conjured up in my mind? Well I found them online in Tammy Girls for £16.00. So today when I went there to try them on.. can you imagine my disappointment when they didn't fit well? I was sooo upset! So off I went looking for something nice to buy that would cheer me up.. a lil... when I came across the perfect blue pair in 4 Feet..

I couldn't believe my luck when they fit well and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn as well! Surely there would be a catch? The price perhaps... but no! Looks like it was my lucky day today.. for they were on sale for £12.00!

The first picture shows the Tammy ones and the second shows the 4 Feet ones.. I love the little diamonte detail and ruched effect too... so cute :D

It seems as though I've got a thing for bold print dresses.. seeing as i've been eyeing quite a few lately as seen in my last post and as will be seen in this one...

Its amazing how I manage to browse in any situation and in any way - like for instance i saw a girl with a Monsoon bag and I fell in love with the dress and necklace pictured on the bag of all things... I mean really.. who does that?

Nevertheless.. here is the dress I like from Monsoon at £75.00 and the enamel butterfly necklace at a more affordable £14.00.

However, both the dress and the necklace seemed much less appealing to me form the pictures on the Monsoon website... perhaps the dress is nicely set off withthe black leggings and of course the beautiful model and the necklace looks so nice as its coupled with a slightly contracting pale green dress... What do you guys think?

A lovely outfit assembled during a little online shopping excursion on Asos.

- The great monoprint baby doll top (which can literally make any outfit into a stunning, chic one) is for £35.00 at Asos

- The leggings with the cute button details adding to the sophistication and (alluding to the nautical theme) is for £12.00 at Asos.

- The purple metallic bag (yes, it is a delicious purple, though you can't really tell in the pic) is for £12.00 at Asos.

- The stylish heels at £25.00 from Asos.

One dress.. so many ways..

I love H&M's autumn collection, but most of all I love this dress (its for £24.99):

Its a sophisticated classic that can be paired with different items and worn in different ways. For example:

although there is a skirt int eh second picture (from H&M at £14.99), the dress can be worn with a black babydoll top to give it an entirely new look; as a skirt. And the extra layers will be keeping you warm too.
And how cute does the dress look beneath the lovely yellow coat (a steal at £19.99 from H&M!) with matching heels?
Add a touch of colour with a pair of yellow socks and make a statement with the wedges.
Yellow not your colour? How about wearing the dress under this grey cardigan at £34.99?
Look chic and stylish with the luxurious white coat (at £69.99).
Or failing that, you could just keep the look simple by wearing the dress as shown int he first picture with some nice cream heels and a long sleeved grey top underneath.

As you can see, the possibilities are endless and this is a dress that can see you through the whole season with the aid of a few different accessories. As you can probably tell, I'm absolutely in love with the dress.. gimme gimme gimme! And i just have to get it soon... *goes into day dream mode*

My Mum got me these metallic black leggings from Topshop today.. and at £15.00, I thought it wasn't bad at all... what do you guys think? I'll have a look in my closet and when I find something to pair them with I shall post the pics, though feel free to give me any suggestions.

As I have a lot of course work to be getting on with, I'll leave you with this pic from urban outfitters:

All in all, I think it works rather well with the black jacket nicely setting off the whole outfit. Perfect for fall with that lovely dark palette. Though I would love to add something like my gold coins chain to an outfit like this. What do you think? Like it or not?

Distractions in the form of something shiny... and blue!

Distractions are welcome... especially if you are one bored student, sitting in a quadruple French lesson (yeah that's right.. quadruple! some seriously messed up timetable huh?) and something shiny catches your eye. And its shiny and blue!

Blue patent pumps or peep toes.. gorgeous... so why don't I have any? Ask my mother who seems to think that 4 or 5 pairs of shoes are more than enough more a girl my age... Anyway, so where was I? Blue pumps.. that thought of course meant that I was shoe shopping/browsing online and came across some lovely boots.. now that the weather's getting colder again.. i could do with these:

All the boots are from Shoezone, a great place if you're on a budget and while I'd usually doubt the quality of such low priced items, I know from experience that their shoes actually last as long as any others.

- patent white boots - £19.99
- pink boots - £19.99
- brown leather boots - £16.99
- black patent boot - £19.99
- black suede boots - £16.99

I love the white ones, I saw a pair last winter, slightly different, and loved them but for some reason never got round to getting some. The pink are quite funky too but too girly for me I think.. I have black ones like those too but they're getting quite worn out. There are also some fab lace up boots out there and one in different lengths but I shall post about those separately some other time.

As for the blue pumps.. I get distracted easily don't I? I shall add a pic of them when I find time later on, if I don't get sidetracked again lol.

Wrapping up warm..

Fall.. my favourite season... I just love how everything changes.. from the fashion to the trees.. its llike everyone and everything is included in this little secret of nature... and I especially tend to love the fall/winter trends, especially the coats and wrapping up warm.

I've been wanting to get a nice, soft, warm, white (or cream) coat for a while now.. i love white coats that let you blend in with the snow at Christmas and look like an angel (lol)... Something like these coats would do (if I had the money of course):

Lux North Country Coat - $150.00 from US Urban Outfitters site (available online only)

The last one would probably be my favourite if only it were available in white, on the UK site, and were a lil' cheaper... oh well.. a girl can dream can't she? I do have a similar caot (like the urban outfitters one) in black but it's slightly shorter, has a belt and was £25.00 from New Look. So there are cheaper alternatives for those of us who dream of such lovely coats but cannot afford them - you just have to search for the perfect one...

A lil' Shopping

On the way back from a friend's house, while window shopping, I couldn't help but go into H&M and try on these black and white checked plaid shorts. I've seen quite a few people work the whole shorts with tights/legging thing and though at first I couldn't stand it, it's grown on me now and I thought I'd give it a try. It looked quite good in the changing rooms (or so I thought so) and I ended up getting them. They were £15 but with the 25% discount voucher I had, I got them for £11.25.. not bad huh?

That leads me on to my next point - the discount voucher. I recently found out from a friend that you receive a 25% discount voucher (for one item) when you sign up for the H&M online newsletter.. so it might be worth looking into.

As for the shorts, I will be posting a pic soon.

Yet another fashion blog - that's what you're thinking right? So what makes this one better? Nothing. I am not fashion magazine editor, even a fashion student or in any way related to the field of fashion. I'm a simple 16 year old teen who doesn't claim to know the least about fashion, but who does love clothes. Even as a infant, I loved dressing up games and used to make clothes for my dolls.. Haute couture huh?

Now, as a teen who denies being obsessed with shopping I decided to create this blog in order to share my ideas and thoughts as well as to serve as a medium between me and others who share similar interests (for I'd love to hear about you're ideas and comments). As I am not a millionairess who can ask her Daddy dearest for whatever designer handbag she fancies, this blog will while including descriptions and pictures of my regular purchases (which, believe me, are quite regular) will also include ideas about DIY fashion, thrift shopping, wish lists compiled through window shopping as well as fantasies of dream creations.

At times however, I cannot but help being a moody teenager with long ranting sessions.. so please feel free to zone out at those times. Though I shall make it a priority not to become too moody and instead focus on the matter at hand.. fashion! :D
